Human smuggling operations

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar explained the state charges to the three men arrested, "for now they are facing state charges for human smuggling, keeping a stash house and engaging in organized crime."
Sheriff Salazar says the majority of the migrants were Hondurans, mostly in their 20's.
"I overheard some of the investigators talking that at least one of them paid upwards of $12,000 to be brought here."
The Sheriff's Office says this operation was connected to drug cartels, but BCSO did not specify which one.
